Pre-natal / Pregnancy Yoga

Weekly class currently in Walsall on Mondays - see timetable, please arrive 10 mins early if possible

The benefits of yoga during pregnancy are well-known. Many women find themselves drawn to yoga for the first time during their pregnancy. The practice of yoga during pregnancy can do much to improve and maintain health and well-being preparing you well for labour and beyond. We work with midwives locally who recommend our classes and give us other pre-natal information to pass on to you.


Pregnancy Yoga with Bliss
Pregnancy is a time of transition – our sessions will help you, not only to maintain your health, but also bring peace and freedom to the body, heart and mind of you and your child.

Michelle Nicklin runs our pregnancy class and is a qualified pre-natal teacher who practised yoga for many years prior to her first pregnancy. She then went on to practise yoga during her pregnancies and labours. Her kids (now big!!) still love yoga.

At Bliss we use simple yoga movement, breathing, visualisation and deep relaxation techniques to give moms-to-be the most wonderful experience of yoga during pregnancy.

What do I need?
A yoga mat (available for purchase in class at £11).
A yoga band (or long scarf) – professional yoga band available for purchase at £4.75 (available from our shop).
Water.
A blanket or an extra layer for the relaxation at the end.
Any pillows you feel you might need (for lying down with).

We recommend you invest in our relaxation CD which is suitable from day one of pregnancy (available from our shop). Recapture the peace of the class at home.
Costs
You first book a block of 4 sessions at £22.  You can then book 4 additonal sessions which can be taken at any time during your pregnancy for £22 or Pay as You Go at £6 per session.  If you come regularly we get to know you and can modify your programme throughout your pregnancy if issues arise.  You must reserve a place the first time you are coming.
